Welcome everyone to the Nexus of All Realities – A Man-Thing podcast!

Today on the program…the big one…the grand euphemism…the greatest double entendre in all comic book history:

Giant-Size Man-Thing

So yes, there will be jokes of a questionable nature…be prepared.

Shockingly though (or maybe not shocking if you’ve been reading Gerber) there are some pretty heavy issues being brought up in this comic – environmentalism, vaguely satanic death cults, thinly veiled biblical references, and much more.  Of course, all of these things are given the wacky Gerberesque treatment so it seems more silly than it really is.

I also discuss briefly the origins of the Giant-Size line and why it disappeared so quickly.

So join me as I dive in and over-analyze a weird, wacky, and often wonderful 70s swamp-based monster comic with a really, really funny title.

Also: the Nexus of All Realities is now part of The Collective a group of like-minded podcasters who wanted to network in the most traditional sense. It’s a great group and I’m proud to be a part of it.

And…keep it swampy I guess? (Worst tagline ever.)
