In this issue, Steve Gerber tries out a really fascinating idea…what if Superman was a fully grown man-baby with the mind of a child but all the superpowers of an adult? (An adult superhero that is). This is essentially a grand experiment in Marvel Two-in-One form. And a swamp monster of course. It is the Bronze Age in all its glory.

Also, I talk briefly about Superman and his all-consuming presence in comics and the way he influences every superhero comic ever written or will be written. Also, I talk about Man-Thing #1 the start of the R. L. Stine run. Did I like it? Well, let me just say…it gives me goosebumps.
