You’d think they’d know better than to head out into the center of a mystical convergence and play around with stolen magical spell books, but what ya gonna do?

Get ready everyone for the arrival of Steve Gerber and all the weirdness that comes with it. I am terribly excited about this episode because this is the beginning of something new and in my mind the start of what makes this comic great.

To be honest I actually thought about starting the podcast here. As I feel this is where the character begins to become something unique and interesting. Obviously, I decided that the original issues were necessary to the overall gist of the story, and being a completest I simply could not bring myself to leave out issues. But starting here, this run by Steve Gerber is why I wanted to do this podcast in the first place. He was able to take something – or some THING – which let’s face it could have been a pretty bland premise and put a bizarre spin on it that made this something more than a run-of-the-mill monster comic.

I don’t know if you are picking up on this but I am a fan of Steve Gerber.

Also, I get to talk about some current events relating to this podcast…didn’t think I’d get a chance to do that.
